We Welcome
We want to create an environment and be a community that is truly inclusive and contagious; one that is authentically welcoming, loving, caring, and encouraging to all God’s people. We want people to be excited about being part of Zion so much so that they can’t wait to invite their friends. We want to create non-threatening entry points through which people experience community and the power of God’s love both internally and externally. We know that people are spiritually open, yet have reservations when it comes to the organized church, so we want to create environments where people can belong before they believe; extending value and giving worth to people.
We Connect
This is the first step in inviting people to experience a transforming relationship with God and with other people. We do this by providing non-threatening entry points, not the least of which are our public worship opportunities. Everyone is invited. Everyone is welcomed. We choose to love above all things.
We Grow
We want to create a nurturing environment & provide tools for people to explore and embrace the Truth of God, this while grappling with the tough questions and issues of life. We want to be a community where we are growing in our love for God and one another. We want to grow exponentially as well, because it’s the biblical mandate to “go and make disciples of all nations”.
We Share
These are the opportunities that exist for people to utilize their gifts, talents, abilities, and passions to share the love of Jesus locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Serving is one way we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Serving is the ultimate expression of love, and love is what transforms the human heart.
